I am anti-flash most of the time because I have been to many web sites that you can't use unless you download flash which just frustrates the end user. But unfortunately some CEO's want bigger and flashier than anyone elses site, and don't care about sales. Flash is useful in specific applications and is just another tool. And I have seen Flash done by very experienced designers, who unfortunately don't understand business (the purpose of a business is to make money, and the most beautiful site does not always win).
