Default Help, POs not generating to Fulfillment Company

We now have two different order fulfillment companies. As one runs out of stock of certain sizes/colors of t-shirts, the other company is picking up the responsibility of shipping them. I have set several different shirt size/color combinations to the new company to ship, but the PO's are not generating to them. I have child products set up so there is a separate product code for each option, and all appears set up properly the same way I have other single items set to generate a PO to them. But it is not working and I do not know why.

Shirt002-0001 generates PO to company 1
Shirt002-0002 is set to generate PO to company 2 but it is not working

Any ideas what to look for?

Have you set the vendor rules for Shirt002-0002?

Yes, I have vendor rules set up for all the appropriate child product numbers. All the settings are the same as other products that are drop shipping properly.

Edit: I may have found the problem. Shirt002 parent product was set in vendor rules to Company 1. This maybe over rides what is set in child products.
