Default How does this happen? (Images Bug)

So this drives me nuts and for a site our size it's impossible to figure out what images are wrong.

So here's the thing, attached it the image we loaded. This is what shows up on Volusion (It's an image for another product).

We get this all the time and we just can't figure out why. The solution is simple but a real pain. I go find the messed up image, rename it and load it again. I don't change a thing and BOOM it works.

Anybody else have this issue?

How do you create these photos from the getgo? Do you use the admin site to upload each image when creating a product?

We create them in photoshop, then bulk load them using Filezilla. It seems to only happen to say 1 out of 50 images loaded. It's very odd and the fix is just reload the image again. But I'd love to know why it happens and if I'm the only one.

I put a ticket in and got this answer (if anybody searches for this later)

Quote:
We have only seen this occur if the image is uploaded before the product is created. In the admin interface if you are creating a new product, if you upload the image first, then fill out the data and then click Add New, this may occur.

Another cause is the use of the "Use Same Photos As ProductCode" field which has a product share the photos with another. Using this field would also cause the image to change.
This didn't help us, but it may help somebody else. We had the products up for about 24 hours and we've seen this happen with non product images also (like boarder images and buttons)
