not writing in with an answer, classicrock, just seconding your question. With all the experts posting on this forum, and with all of volusion's customers, you would think there would be someone out there selling their volusion-centered programming services to all us dumdums. who's available?

Yes, but us programmers (im one of those geeks ) do have day jobs, and can take on freelance work sometimes. Its easier to answer someone question and let them do the work.

You are so correct. There's a large market of customers for programmers that know volusion. It's really amazing because it's easy to get programmers for everything but volusion.

If I find someone, I'll let you know and I hope you can do the same for me.

We've got a couple of employees that are pretty well versed in setting up volusion sql queries, etc. They've got us set up with a local database that keeps all of our product info locally, and then exports up to volusion, froogle, and the other cse's. At least one of them has enough time on his hands for us to give him some sidework, hit me with a PM if you need that sort of work done.

I haven't hired anyone specifically for Volusion work, but I've used eLance several times with good success. I just did a quick provider search for "Volusion" and it appears that there are definitely a few designers and programmers out there that have done some Volusion work. Make sure you check the provider's feedback, etc. and you should be all set. Guru is another site I've used - but just a bit.
