Default Signature on USPS Priority International

Hi,

We had a few chargebacks and lost them all, we had cvv2, avs and shipped to the billing. Both times they asked for a signature and we didn't have it. Now when I just went to ship out more stuff using the USPS site I didn't see anything about getting a signature on USPS Priority.

Do they not have it, or is it something they don't offer online? Maybe we'll just have to switch to UPS for everything if that's the case.

I suggest you switch to UPS. The USPS has a HORRIBLE reputation on this site. Do a search on USPS and you'll see some interesting threads.

We don't ship with them locally anymore, for us it was just that our competitors shipped internationally cheaper then we did, and customers kept asking for us to use it. I'm really thinking about going back... we just ship so much I would hate to loose sales over a shipping cost.

Then you need to weigh your options. Which way are you likely to lose the most money.....by not using USPS, or by using them and getting chargebacks?

See that's the thing, we would win them if I can figure out if we can get signatures on them. We are already switching most of our heavy items over to UPS only by lowering the max weight for USPS.
