Default Stone Edge Recieving

I've noticed that when you recieve inventory for out of stock items through stone edge, it does not trigger the emails for the customers that had asked to be emailed when back in stock.

Has anyone found a fix or workaround for this?

Yeah, I posted about this back towards the end of last year here: http://forums.volusion.com/showthread.php?t=3622&page=2

Basically what we do is go in and manally updated the inventory levels in Volusion because even a CSV import of the updated inventory levels WILL NOT trigger the back in stock emails.

So what triggers the back in stock emails then? Only receiving a PO via the Volusion admin?

Since we don't use Volusion's PO system, I can't say if that method will trigger the back in stock emails or not. Some testing is probably necessary to make sure. All I know for sure is that a CSV import of updated stock levels WILL NOT trigger the emails and I have to manually adjust the inventory levels on the individual product screens or on the editable product list to get the emails triggered.

jgreco5,
One thing I thought I'd mention... we're using StoneEdge to automatically synch inventory level changes in Volusion. So to trigger the emails once we've received inventory, all we actually do is take the SEOM Inventory Received list that's generated and then go into Volusion and manually add "0" inventory to each item on the list. Since SEOM has already updated Volusion's levels automatically, just typing in a zero and then saving that entry is enough to trigger the emails.

To set up SEOM to synch inventory changes with Volusion, see Kevin's post here: http://www.stoneedge.net/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6601
