Default help updating out of stock items

One of my drop shippers supplies stock status daily as a csv file with part #'s. Is there a way to sync that file with my inventory to mark items out of stock or do I need to manually mark which items are out?

You may want to try this with a .csv file with just one product you want to mark out of stock just to make sure it works.

From the Volusion Export Page:

When importing back your products through the "Import Wizard", the only required field is "ProductCode". So if you're going to just import stock status everyday, you'd just import "ProductCode" and "StockStatus".

So, just import a csv file with your part numbers in a column labeled ProductCode and another column StockStatus with '0' in each row.

I think that would work? Of course, you'd have to update it in similar fashion when parts are back in stock...

That would not work. Unless they are using the part numbers supplied by the supplier as their product codes. If they have it in another field, like vendor part no... then they'd need to import a file with ProductCode, VendorPartNo (or whatever it is) and StockStatus.

Correct, sorry for my assumption.
