Hey everyone,

I've implemented a new Flash based featured items display on our homepage.. I'm kind of on the fence about how much i like it and if we should keep it there or not.

Can you guys give me your thoughts on it? Also, please let me know how you feel it affects page load time, usability and if it makes sense on how to use it for the average user.

That's pretty cool, although the scrolling images was a little difficult to use. Was this a custom implementation or was it something you found on the world wide wicked web?

Slow down the scroll speed on it. Its very fast and you cant even read the text when you hover. Also, the load time wasn't that long. But an easy fix would be add a preloader to the .swf . Other than that, its a fun little flash piece.

And to answer the question above. Its a pre made flash piece. Ive seen it before.
