As we know the economy is in bad shape, everything has seemed to slow way down from buying & selling.
How is your online business been doing, numbers up or down? has the economy effected your online store? For our store where the same as last year at this time, maybe a little more. |

Ase,
I too am hanging at last years level. While I see brick and mortar closings in our small tourist town, everything seems to be good online. I figure I am down a bit with sales because of shipping and wholesale increases, all in all, I'm not complaining. There are reports from major retailers with online presence of being up double digits. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/19/bu...&oref= slogin I can think that it's what your selling to how much up, down or on the even your store is. I sell repair parts for range rovers, I'm down 75% from January, about 50% off of last year (winter is my busy time).
I think they're just not being driven as much lately since they average 15mpg, fewer miles=fewer parts needed (or noticed to be needed)

The economy is killing businesses in our industry, but we're still hanging in there. Sales are down when they should have been up this year, but we're still in the black, which is more than I can say for many of our competitors.
